It is children who teach us the importance of seeing every moment in life as a miracle. And the forest, if we really listen to it, can be a truly magical place, full of unique sounds and noises. On the sound journey, children will learn to identify the different sounds of the forest environment, but most of all, they will be encouraged to look at the forest from a different perspective.
The sounds of nature have incredible power – to soothe, inspire and connect us to our environment on a deeper level. As you listen to and record natural sounds such as rustling leaves, birds singing or the sound of water, you will learn to listen for the subtle sounds that are often overheard in the rush of everyday life.
This experience will make you stop and start looking at the world around you with ‘new’ eyes – and ears. Listening to nature improves awareness, but recording requires a great deal of patience, which will train you to be in the here and now.
Listening to nature has been shown to reduce stress, improve concentration and foster a sense of inner peace.
During the experience, you will gain insights into the use of sound recording equipment. Above all, you will get to know nature in a whole new way, deepening your connection to it (and to yourself).
Recording the sounds of nature can also be a true artistic process. With recorded sounds, you will create unique sound recordings that tell the stories of nature. This is a great opportunity to express your creativity and create lasting memories.
Before the start of the workshop, each participant receives a backpack containing all the equipment needed to listen to and record the sounds of the natural environment: a tripod, a recording device, different types of microphones.
At the end of the experience, each participant receives the sounds they have recorded as a gift on a USB stick.
We create a space where individuals connect more deeply with themselves through nature-based experiences, rediscover their authenticity, and begin to live a more conscious, fulfilled, and aligned life.
